It is gothic time-travel by way of dungeon funeral, then it undercuts itself with bright, cosy-looking symbols. I like the mood in isolation, but the tonal mix feels undecided rather than daring.

You get eight standard symbols: suits as low pays and themed objects as premiums. Five suits return 1x to 2x stake, while five premiums pay 5x to 20x. The gold W wild substitutes and only really matters as a five-of-a-kind worth 20x.

The base paytable is honestly stingy, and it is meant to be. This is a slot where the ordinary symbols are filler until the special watches show up. When red-rimmed Watch wild multipliers land, they reveal x2 to x12 only if they help form a win, and multiple Watches add their multipliers together. That is where the slot shines, because it turns bland lines into proper jolts.

Land 3 Ghost scatters and you trigger the Borrowed Time bonus, a two-phase setup that I find more interesting than it first looks. If you want a more consistently rewarding ride, this falls short. For me, it is a decent, occasionally thrilling slot that never quite finds the signature hook its feature set deserves.
