So I have been spinning Shark Frenzy by Slotmill for a few sessions now and honestly it is a proper good time. It runs on a 5x5 grid with 30 paylines, bets go from 15p up to 60 quid. The RTP sits at 96.13%, volatility is medium-to-high, and the hit frequency is about 31.47% so you are not just watching dead spins all night. Max win is 7,777x your stake which is nothing to sniff at.

Visually it is gorgeous. Bright, cartoonish underwater scene with a sunken ship in the background, corals everywhere, and the reels are sort of semi-transparent which looks class. Reminded me a bit of other ocean slots but it has its own vibe, more playful than scary. Works fine on my phone too.

Low pays are your standard card royals -- J, Q, K, A -- giving you 4x to 5x for a full line of five. Then you have got five different fish as the premium symbols paying between 15x and 60x for five of a kind. The shark itself is the Wild and subs for everything regular. There is also a chest that works as the Scatter, and Treasure symbols that only really matter during the respins.

The big thing here is the Respin Frenzy. When a Wild shark lands anywhere it kicks off respins where only Treasure and Bonus symbols can appear. Respins keep going as long as new symbols show up. When they stop, the shark gobbles up all visible Treasures and those can be worth 1x to 500x your bet. It triggers fairly often which keeps things lively.

Land 3, 4, or 5 Scatters and you get 6, 8, or 10 Free Spins. During those, the shark pops up more and there is a growing multiplier that goes up by 1x with every consecutive respin. Then there are the Fast Track buys -- 15x for a guaranteed Respin Frenzy, 100x for Free Spins, and 200x for Super Bonus where the multiplier stays sticky and never resets between respins. That last one is where the real potential lives.

I have genuinely enjoyed my time with Shark Frenzy. It feels more like a medium vol game in practice because stuff triggers all the time, but the treasure values stacking up with that progressive multiplier can escalate quickly. Slotmill do not put out loads of games but the ones they make are properly polished. This one looks brilliant, plays smoothly, and the feature balance is spot on. Definitely one I will keep coming back to.
