Mighty Masks

After a few sessions on Mighty Masks, it feels like a bright, cartoonish trip to the Serengeti (loads of animals, big masks, that sort of vibe). It runs on a 5x4 grid with 20 fixed paylines, and you need 3+ matching symbols from the left. It is medium-high volatility, RTP can be up to 96.3%.

Symbols-wise, Mighty Masks keeps it simple: low pays are 10, J, Q, K, A, and the high pays are the bird, rhino, monkey, crocodile, and lion. Five of a premium lands around 10x to 20x your stake, while five of a low one is just 1x.

The wooden W wild can show up on all reels, swaps in for normal pay symbols, and a full line of it pays 20x. You have also got the Mystery Mask symbol (it reveals a symbol), the orange Nudge Wild, and the FS scatter logo that kicks off the bonus.

The headline bit in Mighty Masks is the Mighty Mystery Masks thing. Masks land fairly often, and they all flip to the same randomly picked symbol, sometimes even a wild. If masks hit on three reels or more, they spread down to fill those reels before revealing, and it all happens after normal wins pay out.

Then there is the NudgeReels and that multiplier wheel sat to the side. When a Nudge Wild is part of a win, the wheel spins and you get a multiplier for that spin. If the Nudge Wild has a number on it (1 to 50), it nudges the wheel that many times, adding up multipliers from x2 to x100 into one bigger total. Proper tense when it starts rattling through.

The Serengeti Sunset free spins in Mighty Masks trigger on 3+ scatters in the base game, paying 10 spins (3 scatters), 12 (4), or 14 (5). In the feature, you see more Mystery Masks and Nudge Wilds, and you can retrigger with 2 scatters for +2 spins or 3 scatters for +4. There is also a Bonus Buy menu in some places: BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 3x stake (5x bonus chance), Masked FeatureSpins at 40x (guaranteed 3 masks), or buy the bonus at 120x. Not available in the United Kingdom though.

If you like the idea of stacking mystery reels and then whacking a giant multiplier on top, Mighty Masks is good fun. For me, the Nudge Wild is the star because it can juice a normal spin into something tasty, even before bonuses. Max win is capped at 10,000x, and the only real nag is the adjustable RTP, so I would always check it is on the higher setting (96.30%) if you can.
