Le Fisherman is the 8th game in the 'Le' series and honestly, it looks gorgeous -- a quiet lake, green hills, Smokey sat in a little boat wearing yellow wellies and armbands. The soundtrack is dead calm and relaxing, proper chill vibes. It runs on a 6x5 grid with cluster pays, so you need 5 or more matching symbols touching to win. The big new thing here is the Epic Rainbow -- it turns the entire grid into Golden Squares regardless, no previous wins needed. That one is properly exciting when it hits.

There are three free spins features. Land 3 FS scatters for On Thin Ice (10 spins), where Golden Squares stick around between spins and there is a Big Catch Bar that levels up every 5 scatters you collect, giving you +5 extra spins each time. By level 4, you get a Rainbow or Epic Rainbow guaranteed every spin. Land 4 scatters for Slippery When Wet -- same deal but Golden Squares stay even after activation, and minimum coin value jumps to 1x. Hit 5 scatters and you unlock the hidden Smokey Under Water bonus, which starts straight at level 4. Cannot buy that one though, it is natural trigger only.

Visually it is one of the best in the series -- Smokey dressed as a mermaid in the Slippery When Wet round genuinely made me laugh. If you are into fishing slots or already a fan of the 'Le' series, it is well worth chucking some bait at.
